JAMTASTIC GAMES

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-30

This policy covers Dice Night and any other game published by Jamtastic Games. It's written plainly because the data handling is simple and there isn't much to obscure.

What we collect

Display name — the name you type on the home screen. Stored on our server while you're in a room. Visible to other players in that room. We never ask for a real name.
Anonymous player ID — a random UUID generated once per app install on your device. Used so you can reconnect to a room after a disconnect. Not linked to your name, email, phone, or any account. Different on every device; different after a reinstall or "Clear my data".
Room codes — the last couple of room codes you used are stored only on your device (in the app's local storage). The app never uploads these as a history.
Diagnostic & crash reports — when the app hits an unexpected error it sends an anonymous report so we can fix bugs: your random player ID, the platform and app version, and the technical error message and stack trace. No names, no messages, no other personal content. Stored on our server, automatically deleted after 30 days, and removed right away if you use "Clear my data".

No chat or user content

Our games have no chat, messaging, or any other way to send content to other players. We do not collect, store, or transmit messages, photos, or anything else you might create — there is nothing of that kind in the app.

What we do not collect

Tracking and ads

We do not use any analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or cross-app trackers. The App Store Privacy "nutrition label" reports Data Not Collected for tracking purposes.

Where data lives

Everything is stored on a small server we operate ourselves, in the United States. It is not shared with third parties. Cloudflare sits in front of our server for TLS, caching, and DDoS protection — Cloudflare sees the same traffic your browser sends, subject to their privacy policy.

Server logs

Our server logs each HTTP and WebSocket request with the path, status code, and duration. Logs rotate and are not retained beyond a few days. We don't record personal content.

Children

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The games have no chat, messaging, or other user-to-user content.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and note the change in our app release notes.
